I’m going to attempt to describe just how magical Cory & Mega’s Belsolda Farm wedding was–because it truly was an incredible day! Both the ladies and gentleman got ready at our favorite place in Marquette, the historic Landmark Inn. The ladies were rocking their leggings, chambray shirt, and Birkenstocks. They were girls after my own heart! The gentlemen were looking dapper as they finished up putting on their ties and final touches.
After getting ready Megan headed off to meet with her husband-to-be at one of their favorite spots in Marquette, Little Presque Isle, for their first look. The tall red pines and lush forests were the perfect, peaceful backdrop for the lovebirds. The happy couple looked absolutely incredible together! They always look great together–just check out how adorable they were for their Minneapolis, Minnesota engagement pictures!!
The bridesmaids and groomsmen meet up shortly afterward for portraits with the happy couple. Between the woods and water, there were plenty of locations for pictures. Although it was officially Fall the temperatures didn’t feel like it. It was nearly 90 degrees that day!! It was incredibly beautiful for Megan and Cory’s outdoor wedding.
The bridal party arrived early to the ceremony and relaxed as guest trickled in. The guests were treated to a drink as they made their way to the apple orchard ceremony spot at Belsolda. Between the music, the light coming through the trees, and the look on Cory’s face when he first saw Megan walking down the aisle–it was pure magic. The stuff fairytales are made of.
After the lovebirds were pronounced husband and wife it was off to visit with guest, dine, and dance the night away. They even managed to sneak away for a few dreamy sunset photos before hitting the dance floor. It was truly just an incredible day.
Huge congrats to Megan and Cory! We were so honored to photograph your special day. Enjoy!
Cory’s Grandmother was unable to make it to the wedding, but he made sure to stop by and give her a big her beforehand.
