This second part needs a drumroll (or bagpipe) introduction! In part one you got to see Moriah & Kenny’s Mackinac Island wedding ceremony, now we want to showcase the celebration that followed. Grab your cup of coffee and sit down while scrolling through this beautiful wedding.
After the ceremony the newlyweds led the way to cocktail hour as the bagpipers and guests followed. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were served out on the patio overlooking the straights of Mackinac. Inside Mission Point Resort the candles were being lit and the final touches were being done. The mix of sparkle, wood beams, gold, teal, blush, and white really was more beautiful that words can express. It truly was one of the prettiest decorated weddings.
The guest made their way into the reception and were treated with a Joann’s fudge favor at their table setting. Bill, from Double Trouble DJ’s, announced that instead of clinking glasses to have the couple kiss he was going to randomly call a couple up to kiss. Whatever kiss they did Kenny & Moriah had to then mimic. It was a hoot to watch and so many couples happily played it up as dinner was starting to be served. Laughter and love filled the air. Once dinner was complete it was time for the new Mr. & Mrs. to cut their cake and then head to the dance floor for their first dance. It was the beginning of an epic night of dancing and celebration!
Congrats again and again to Kenny & Moriah on their incredible Mackinac Island wedding. It was a dream to photograph such an amazing couple at the most romantic location. Enjoy!
