Everything seemed to click perfectly in place on the day of Sam & Chelsea’s summer wedding in Marquette. When we arrived Chelsea and her bridesmaids were putting the final touches on at the Hampton Inn that overlooks the Ore Dock. Sam and his groomsmen were across the town relaxing at the reveal location. Outside it was 75 and sunny, a true summer day in Northern Michigan.
The ladies boarded the bus and went to join up with the gentlemen across town. Down a small path and along the lake shore Sam was nervously awaiting his bride-to-be. Chelsea kicked her shoes off and made her way down to see him for their first look. The joy when they first saw each other was priceless and as the approached to hug each other the wind playfully wrapped Chelsea’s veil around the two of them.Shortly
Shortly afterward the bridal party made their way down to the beach to join in the fun and celebrations. Sam’s best man also told the couple about a location that was a short climb away. Sam & Chelsea didn’t hesitate to climb the mountainside! We are sure glad they did because the views up there were incredible.
Afterward it was time to head to the church to get ready for ceremony. Music filled the air as Chelsea made her way down the aisle with both of her parents. Their guest relaxed and truly took in the words that were being said because the couple had an unplugged wedding. Once they were pronounced husband and wife it was time to celebrate. The bridal party made their way to the beach for a few more portraits and then onto Donckers to sip on shakes and enjoy some fine candies.
Nearby guests were making their way into the beautiful reception at the Marquette History Museum. The set up that Panache Decorating did was beyond beautiful. The floral centerpieces and woodsy accents really stood out from the clean space of the reception. The air smelled of delicious cakes and savory dinner. After dinner & first dances the couple joined us outside for a few last images as the sun was setting. It was the best way to end and already incredible day. Huge congrats to Sam & Chelsea again. We absolutely loved capturing your beautiful day. Enjoy!
