This summer has been so wonderful for weddings! The temperatures have been comfortable for outdoor events, the sun has been shining, and the breeze off the lake have been warm. Wedding day for Rachel & Nick was exactly that and it was fantastic! When we arrived the gals were getting into their unique dresses and the guys were suiting up. Rachel looked stunning in her wedding gown and beautiful jewelry. The guys all looked handsome in their casual outfits and Nick’s vest made him stand out above the rest. We drove to a quiet beach nearby for their first look photos. The moment that the bride and groom first see each other is always amazing! After some time went by we borrowed the couple for some photos in the woods and along the water. Their bridal party joined up shortly afterwards too! Once they were done with photos we all headed back to the Holiday Inn to prepare for their ceremony. Their outdoor ceremony was set up near the bond and the temperatures were comfortable. Guests took their seats, the music started playing, and it was time for Rachel to make her way down the aisle to her groom-to-be. In a short, but beautiful, ceremony they committed themselves to one another and were pronounced husband and wife. They visited with their guest during the outdoor cocktail hour and then it was time to head inside for dinner. After dinner it was time for the cake buffet and dancing–it was such a celebration! And right as the sun was setting we took the newlyweds outside for a few last photos. Big thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Quayle for the relaxed and sweet summer wedding! Enjoy!
