Alisa & Curtis’s wedding has something we’ve been looking forward to for a while. The fun of the engagement pictures in Traverse City was a small look into the fun that their wedding day would hold. The Atheneum hotel in Greektown is where the bridal party got ready. The groom and groomsmen were finished up early and had an incredible car lined up to take them to the ceremony location at The Whitney in Detroit. After the ladies were done with their stunning hair & makeup they took the same car to the venue.
Once at The Whitney it was time for one of our favorite moments of the day, the first look! Alisa stunned in her sleek and sparkly wedding dress and Curtis looked dapper in his navy blue suit. Laughter and tears of joy came out the instant they got to see each other. It was such a beautiful moment to capture. Nearby their bridal party was gathering together in front of a gorgeous ivy covered wall for portraits as the bride & groom walked up to join them. It was a great location for portraits before heading inside to relax at the Ghost Bar before the ceremony.
Their outdoor ceremony location was b-e-a-utiful! That beauty was only enhanced by the sounds of the nearby fountain sprinkling down. As Alisa rounding the corner to the wedding both her and Curtis’s face lit up with joy. The ceremony was short, but filled with love and prayers for the happy couple. After their first kiss as husband and wife, it was onto the celebration. A quick stop at the Detroit Institute of Art and the Illuminated Mural before their arrived at their Cliff Bells wedding reception. The night was spent indulging on delicious cakes, fun drinks, and dancing the night away. All in all it was a perfect day for Mr. & Mrs. Rybski. Congrats again to the newlyweds! Enjoy.
These two + this location – pure magic!!
